Reaching Fair Question Amsterdam
Every booking is written, at any hour of the day. A written booking leaves the address, the time and the length sitting in a thread that both sides can read again, which settles more arguments than any phone call ever has.
Accuracy is the first reason and discretion only the second. A spoken booking depends on two people hearing each other correctly across a bad line. A written one does not, and an evening that turns on a room number is a poor place to test anybody's hearing.
An opening message answers itself quickly when these five items are already in it:
- Where you are, which a district or a building covers, plus the room number once you have it.
- The hour, given in Amsterdam time rather than in whatever time your phone is still keeping.
- How long: sixty minutes, ninety, two hours, three, or the eight hour block.
- Who, if a name from the profiles has already settled it, or what sort of hour you are after if it has not.
- Whether you want one therapist or two, and whether there are two of you there.
What returns in that same thread is a name, a figure and the window she will arrive inside. Nothing is asked of you before it arrives. There is no form, no account, nothing to type into a page, and no deposit asked for until a booking has been agreed.
What is worth leaving out
Anything about the contents of a session. Not because it offends anyone, but because nobody on this side of the thread is in a position to answer it, and a message built around it takes longer to deal with than one that is not. Timing, and the airport hotels
Bookings run on Amsterdam time. If any doubt remains, set the hour down twice over, once local and once in yours, and no misreading is possible. If you are in a room at one of the Schiphol airport hotels, say so at the start, because those are arranged rather than quoted and the reply takes a different shape while the journey is agreed.
What the thread cannot do
It cannot tell you what a particular building allows its guests, cannot book or change a room on your behalf, and will not contact anybody for you. It answers about therapists, formats, timing, length and payment, and it answers those properly.
