Chloe

Chloe has a settled view about persuasion, which is that it does not work on her and never has. A message that repeats itself gets the same answer in the same words, and a third attempt gets a courteous silence rather than an argument. She is twenty-four, blonde, and lives among the Jordaan courtyards where the noise stops about a metre inside the gate. French and English are both hers to work in, and she reads a guest's comfort from posture long before it turns up in a sentence. None of this makes her cold, and most people find that out inside the first ten minutes.

Chloe decides which bookings she takes and may decline any of them; she sets the limits for what a session includes, says what they are, and may end a visit at any point, as the terms set out.
